SHARE YOUR SUCCESSES



Meeting Description:

We’re shaking it up a bit for the month of June!  Enjoy a change of venue, time and format with a buffet breakfast at the elegant University Club, located on the Southbank near downtown. 

 

At our June meeting we will draw on the vast resources within our chapter membership and call upon you, our members, to “Share Your Successes.”  Consider it professional “show and tell.”  Come prepared to describe your success in two minutes or less, in answer to one of these questions:

  • What best practice have you discovered within your organization as you completed a significant assignment?
  • How have you overcome an obstacle to meet a specific objective?
  • What recent accomplishment of yours has positively impacted your workplace?

 

During our meeting we’ll also introduce the ASTD Mentor Pilot Program, a 14 week program matching mentors and protégés within the chapter.  Based on a recent chapter survey that revealed a strong interest in ASTD mentoring, the program encourages mentor and protégé to work closely together toward achieving the protégé’s professional goals.  The Mentor Pilot Program runs July through October and matches participants based on goals, skills and background.  Learn more at the June 17 meeting, including qualifications, specific commitment required and how to apply. 

 

Attend this session if:

  • You are eager to connect with other professionals going through similar workplace challenges.
  • You want to learn from the success of others.
  • You need tips for successfully navigating difficult assignments.
  • You value the exchange of professional information, mentoring and networking.

 

Whether you choose to share one of your own successes or you simply listen and learn from others, you will benefit from this meeting.  We hope to see you there.

             Chapter Members - Other            $15.00 
             Non Members                                $25.00

         $5.00 surcharge for unregistered "walk-ins"
         applies to both members and non-members.
