     Do You Suffer From Information Overload?

Learning professionals are bombarded with an overwhelming amount of information on a daily basis. The challenge of dealing with demanding technology and a constant flood of data has never been greater.

This program will give you insight into current realities and research about information overload and multitasking, and provide practical solutions for individual productivity enhancement. You will participate in at least three interactive exercises that can be used for your instructor-led programs.

We will discuss distractions, interruptions, lost productivity, and stress. You will also learn realistic approaches to a balanced workplace.  You will also be handed the keys to dealing with procrastination.


Key concepts that will be addressed

Research on information overload and how to manage

  • Facts and realities about multitasking
  • Tips on how to deal with procrastination
  • How to manage your time effectively

Three Learning Objectives:

  1. Manage time effectively in light of information overload
  2. Participate in learning activities which can be used in a classroom
  3. Create a plan to reduce procrastination and improve personal time management.   

ATD Competency Model:
  The Model emphasizes: (1) foundational competencies, or those that are important to everyone in the field, and 2) the specific areas of expertise (AOEs), which are the specialized knowledge and actions required by specific roles. Delivery. (Click on image of the model to enlarge).

Greg Enos helps people look at life differently.

Thousands of working professionals have participated in his productivity workshops over the past four decades in financial services, healthcare, high technology, manufacturing, and public sector organizations. His highly interactive style of facilitation is unique. He is the author of the Creating Energized Teams, Investing Time Wisely and Sharpening Your Listening Skills training programs.

His Information Overload and Multitasking presentation has been well received by conference and professional association audiences across the United States.

Greg served as president of the American Society for Training and Development (Bay Colonies Chapter), is past president of Projects With Industry, Inc., and is a co-founder of the Diversity Working Group. He has taught at Boston College, Brown University, Simmons College, the University of Rhode Island, and Roger Williams University.

He promotes listening as a critical skill, is a Certified Listening Professional and has served on the International Listening Association executive board.
