Are They Hearing What You Meant to Say - or Something Completely Different?

Ever feel like you are talking to a wall? Hate repeating yourself to your teammates or subordinates? Are you convinced that no one really listens to anything you say? I have news for you - it's not their problem...it's YOURS!

In this fun, high energy, interactive 45 minute mini-workshop, international author, national speaker and sales and management trainer Brad Raney tackles the everyday dilemma of effective communication in this spin on his highly successful full day workshop called "Creative Communication Strategies". Brad will share the keys to communicating clearly 360 degrees around you, dealing with uncertainty in the workplace, morphing the cube farm "silo" mentality, listening with all six (yes, six!) of your senses, engaging students or class participants who "were sent to take your class", and much more.

Three Learning Objectives:

  1. Develop better listening skills and learn how to teach others to do the same
  2. Initiate and maintain better communication styles and patterns among departments
  3. Increase the effectiveness of message delivery and reponse, especially during conflict

ATD Competency Model:

The Model redefines the skills and knowledge required for trainers to be successful now and in the future. It captures changes driven by digital, mobile, and social technology; demographic shifts; globalization; and economic forces.
