Join us for our first ever ATD “Tom Talks” – our chapter’s version of Ted Talks named in honor of our current president Tom Speer. You’ll have to the opportunity to learn from speakers presenting a nine-minute deep dive on separate topics pertaining to the training and talent development world.  You won’t want to miss this unique one-of-a-kind monthly meeting at a venue that is uniquely suited for this program.

About the Speakers


Marilyn Feldstein is a Certified Job and Career Transition Coach, a Professional in Human Resources (PHR), an Administrator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and President of Career Choices Unlimited, Inc.   Marilyn earned her master’s degree from Penn State University and her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida.  She was honored with The Excellence in Coaching and Mentoring Award in 2011 and 2008 and has been featured in TV and radio programs.  Marilyn is Past President and Past Vice President of the Career Management SIG for ATDNEFL and currently serves as a member of the Program Advisory Committee (PAC) for ATD National.  She has many years of experience providing tailor-made coaching to individuals as well as delivering career transition workshops for companies and organizations.  She is also Adjunct Full Professor of Career Management at Webster University Graduate School.  Marilyn has served in management and leadership positions with several major corporations and provides one-on-one coaching and outplacement services to employees who are seeking meaningful careers.

Bob Zinsser, President, Get in the Game SE, a division of CFM

Bob has proven success helping organizations succeed through developing their people. He applies his business development skills in situational analysis to identify needs and leverage skill building as a springboard to innovation, best practices, productivity, and sales skills development. By his peers, he is known for accepting challenging projects while developing a process to achieve desired results.

Bob has over 30 years of experience in several roles that include Regional Sales Executive, Key Client Management, and General Manager of a large Financial Services unit with focus on developing a client management group and sales development. He provides individual evaluation, ideas and coaching for desired results. Bob has extensive sales experience ranging from small family business to large Fortune 50 size companies.  He grew up in a sales world drastically different than the world of sales today and has adapted for success, this provides his clients with a resource for aligning their approach and sales efforts for the most effective path.

Get In The Game SE provides services to build businesses with a system to achieve dramatic and permanent improvements in sales productivity. Bob has worked with individuals and companies in a variety of markets with many unique business challenges. He works with salespeople across diverse industries by implementing a sales process that supports prospecting, provides structure, and improves performance that drives revenue growth. Bob also delivers a targeted program for groups that want to explore the challenges that companies face in today’s difficult sales environment.

Get In The Game SE became a division of Client Focused Media (CFM) in July of 2014. Get In The Game SE will provide support of CFM’s clients Sales Performance issues, as well as, deliver training to the employees of CFM as the Training Coordinator. CFM is a full service Marketing/Advertising Agency with a unique concept of insourcing other services that many clients eventually need. (See Graphic below) Robert Zinsser is finishing up his first book which is Co-Authored and entitled “Out Of Time” and due to be published in early 2015.+.

Bob earned his MBA from Robert Morris College, Pittsburgh, PA, and his BS in Business Administration from Waynesburg College, Waynesburg, PA. He is a member of the Small Business Resource Network in Jacksonville, FL, Past President of the Association for Talent Development, and a member of the First Coast Coaches Association.

Susan Bowen, founder and principal consultant of Leadership Elements, has been in the “relationship” business for over 25 years. She has worked with for­‐profit and not­‐for­‐profit groups and organizations to reinvent one’s perspective of self, one’s ability to work with others, and one’s approach to organizational talent challenges. Using her creative style and out­‐of­‐the­‐box insights, she connects with clients to improve the relational side of their business. Self­‐awareness, teambuilding, and coaching are her areas of expertise when working with individuals and teams. For those organizations with a future focus, Susan partners with executives to formulate succession plans and develop talent pipelines. Building leadership capacity and capability in individuals, teams and organizations is Leadership Elements’ (and Susan’s) reason­‐to­‐be.

Mark Greeley retired from the U.S. Navy after 28 years of service. Part of his tenure included tours as a Master Training Specialist and Curriculum Developer. Following his naval career he has become an experienced Instructional Designer/Developer, Corporate Trainer and Manager of Learning and Development. Mark currently serves on the ATD NEFL Board. Mark holds a BS in Workforce Education, Training, and Development from Southern Illinois University and an AAS in Instructional Technology from Florida State College.
