May Luncheon Meeting

Movies to Manage By

presented by: Linda Plummer, MBA, SPHR

Have you ever watched a Hollywood movie and thought, "That scene would be perfect in my class!"  Film – and the energetic discussions it stimulates – provides powerful insights. These leadership "moments of truth" illustrate what leaders do. Each scene encourages you to get into "the act," helping you to see yourself playing the lead role and gaining leadership insights in the process.

Linda will set the stage for some applicable scenes from great feature films. We will all observe the scenes and then she will lead us through a discussion regarding leadership shown in the short scenes. Linda will also provide information on how you and your company can obtain copyright permission to use movie clips in training. It is not nearly as difficult as you think.
