    Monthly Program

Topic: Emotional Intelligence 2.0, EQ in Action!

Emotional intelligence(EQ) is increasingly critical as a skill set, and when combined with our IQ and natural personality strengths, EQ increases our overall intelligence and ability to effectively, and intentionally, navigate through the challenges and decisions of our daily lives. In this workshop learn the attributes necessary to gain a high Emotional Quotient (EQ) to get to where you want to go.

Participants will learn how to recognize and understand the four skills for building Emotional Intelligence and will gain an understanding of the importance of using EQ as a model to:

  • increase self-regard and assertiveness while tempering negative, defeating "self-talk"
  • become a leader than connects - inspiring trust, engagement, and commitment
  • guide effective responses in difficult and challenging situations
  • consider intentional actions and deliberateness for sound decision making
  • hone skills in "outcome" based thinking and become a leader of influence
