In this workshop, we will create a basic Adobe Flash presentation. This structure can be used as the foundation for creating additional online presentations and e-learning courses. After a brief overview of the Flash interface, we will build the structure and add navigation features (forward and backward buttons and a topic menu). We will use Actionscript to give functionality to your navigation controls.
Requirements:
1. To participate in this Flash Hands-On eSIG session, you will need to bring your own laptop with the Flash program installed. If you do not already have Flash on your laptop, you can download a free 30-day trial version from Adobe at https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=flash. Remember to complete your Flash installation prior to arriving for the meeting, as internet connectivity will not be available for the session.
2. Be sure that your laptop battery is fully charged. Electrical outlets will not be available.
3. If you are not familiar with Flash (or even if you are), view Episode 1: Fundamentals of Flash in a Flash on the Adobe website to get a very good overview of the Flash interface and working with Flash. You can view the episode at: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flash/articles/flash_
