He is the Founder and CIO of The Powers Institute for Innovation, a high-level think tank focusing on how organizations can compete in the future, in human resources, global marketing, product invention and development, and leadership 3.0.

He is acknowledged as an advocated for a sane use of learning and collaboration technology as a means of improving the effectiveness and profitability of enterprises.
