Nine Elements to Design and Influence Behavior

Guest speaker: Kim Seeger

Learniappe Learn Something Extra!

Join us for an engaging session at the University of Phoenix,
North Florida Campus on March 15.

Event Description:

Are you responsible for learning solutions that impact performance?

Do stakeholders expect you to provide what employees need to Know, Feel, and Do on the job?

Do you work with Subject Matter Experts to design learning?

Join us in this highly interactive 3 part program where we will
adapt and apply Gagne's nine instructional events to design synchronous learning.

Part 1: On March 12th (12:00-12:30 EST), registered participants will be emailed an invitation to participate a 30 minute pre-event virtual conversation. During this webinar, Kim will gather information on your specific learning design needs and practices.

She will then build your questions & ideas into a customized learning activity during the March 15th Program.

Part 2: On March 15th, we will hold our main program during
which we will work together to provide you with a learning design
model that can be immediately applied to your next project. Active
participants will: Prepare a window pane model of nine
instructional design elements. Generate ideas for engaging
activities which ignite and involve learners. Apply a process to
designing learning which influences behavior.

Part 3: On March 21st (12:00-12:30 EST), program attendees
will receive an email invitation to participate in a brief 30 minute
post-event virtual conversation to evaluate how the 9 design
lements may be integrated into your learning solutions. We
will discuss ways to overcome obstacles and further apply the
design approach to your learning events.

Note: Parts 1 and part 3 are optional but chapter members are
strongly encouraged to take advantage of these unique
opportunities to customize the program to fit your specific
training needs!
