Then join us for the March Career Management Special Interest Group Program!

Program Overview:

Your Time is Now:  What is your mission and how will you accomplish it?

Slow down and catch your breath: “Your Time is Now” will provide you with valuable information to apply to your personal and professional life, ensuring you are living every day to its fullest and setting you up for continued success. Participants will discuss:

  • Mirror Moments: Who am I, and what is my mission statement?
  • Puzzle Pieces: Where do I fit in, and when do I act?
  • Crystal Clear: Why do it, and how to achieve your mission?

This month’s program supports the ASTD Foundational Competencies of “Interpersonal and Personal Skills.”

Featured Presenter:

KEN FISHER

Ken FisherKen Fisher is an independent training consultant providing training consulting services, including training delivery and design, facilitation, career and performance coaching, organizational consulting, and speaking services.

As a contract trainer, Ken partners with SkillPath Seminars, the University of North Florida, Florida State College at Jacksonville, and Leadership Development International presenting seminars on a variety of topics such as leadership and management, customer service, team building, and more.


After serving in the military for 20 years, Ken has
consulted and partnered with Fortune 500 companies and smaller firms such as: Allstate Insurance, American Express, Capital One, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Fanatics, HSBC, and Wells Fargo.

In addition to being a member of the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD), Ken is also an accomplished member of Toastmasters International. Ken volunteers several hours every month with Haven Hospice, the Sierra Club, and Waste Not Want Not.

Ken’s personal mission statement is to inspire and motivate every person he interacts with to help them become more positive and live a more fulfilling life: Your Time is Now…to come see what Ken has to say!

 

ASTD Competency Model:
The Model emphasizes: (1) foundational competencies, or those that are important to everyone in the field, and (2) the specific areas of expertise (AOEs), which are the 
specialized knowledge and actions required by specific roles. This month’s program supports the ASTD competency of "INTERPERSONAL AND PERSONAL SKILLS.”
