Building Your Network Internally and Externally


Learn how to: 

  • Develop a great self-introduction.

  • Plan and execute a networking strategy for gaining important networking contacts in your workplace and different organizations.

  • Maximize your results at networking events like the JAX Chamber.

Featured Speaker:  John Bryan, Director of the Beaches Division and the Councils of the Jax Chamber.

John Bryan is Director of the Beaches Division and the Councils of the JAX Chamber. One of his specialties is teaching networking to Chamber members. John has been a corporate consultant for twenty years in process management, business strategy and organization development. His client list includes local, national and international companies. He has worked for 

IBM and Citibank, and served on the leadership team that helped Merrill Lynch Credit Corporation win the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. Until joining the Chamber, John was CEO of Improv! Corporate Workshops, a company that does corporate training using improve comedy techniques. John is a co-founder and past chair of the Jacksonville Small Business Resource Network, is past chair of the Community Advisory Board for WJCT Public Broadcasting, has been a mentor in the Women’s Business Center Marketing Matters program, and is a 25-year volunteer with Children’s Home Society Caring Chefs event. He holds a BS in English Literature from Dartmouth College, an MBA from Stanford University and an MS in Quality Management from University of Miami.
