Maintaining a learning management system with hundreds or even thousands of learning events per month, along with several hundred courses and assessments during the same time period, requires up-to-date processes and accurate data.
During this session Jay Heather will discuss successful maintenance of learning management systems, and will provide a high-level view of how eLearning courses can communicate with the LMS using SCORM or AICC, the standards-based protocols that facilitate this vital com-munication. Jay will also discuss information reporting for management and cover some of the most prevalent causes for your employees saying, "I took the course but the system didn't track it."
Jay Heather is the new Manager of Performance Technology for Kendle Industries (www.kendle.com). He was an LMS Support Manager and Consultant for Convergys from 1999 to August, 2008.
