Lectora Tips & Tricks

Many elearning designer/developers have found Lectora to be an intuitive, flexible and easy-to-use tool for building elearning courses. But behind the simple interface, Lectora offers plenty of power for building interactive courses, even if you aren’t a code whiz.
In this session, Darrin will provide a quick tour of many of the useful tools and features in Lectora, and show examples of how you can leverage this powerful tool for building online learning courses. He’ll also point out a few pros and cons of using Lectora for your projects.

Darrin Hayes is an instructional designer and trainer for Nemours, one of the nation’s largest health systems dedicated to the health of children, that employs over 4,100 professionals including more than 420 specialty and subspecialty physicians and surgeons. Darrin has developed dozens of web-based courses with Lectora and other elearning development tools and is a frequent eSIG presenter. At Nemours he’s responsible for WBT and online content development and publishing, training, project management, and LMS administration. He’s a former VP Programs (eSIG) for the ASTD Northeast Florida chapter.
