About the Speaker:

Nicole Saunders is a Deputy General Counsel at the Florida Department of Education. In that role, she serves as the lead attorney for the State of Florida’s Vocational Rehabilitation and Blind Services programs. Nicole began her career as a Corporate Associate for a Fortune 500 fintech company. She then honed her litigation skills, first as an Assistant State Attorney, then as an associate at a law firm, where she practiced exclusively in federal court. Immediately before joining the Florida Department of Education, Nicole worked as a law clerk for a Florida Supreme Court Justice. Nicole strives to assist leaders of teams of all sizes in maximizing their employees' potential by creating a workplace that is efficient, smart, and fun. Nicole is a sought-after speaker who delivered a keynote address for the 2023 GC Innovation Forum, instructing corporate counsel from some of the world's largest companies on practical tips for talent acquisition and retention. She is also a presenter for the Florida Bar, Lawline, Quimbee, and Miles Tales Publishing.
