What if your learners left not just informed, but transformed? In this session, Dr. Heidi Burgess moves beyond traditional instructor-led presentations to reposition attendees as active co-creators of their own mastery. Through her facilitation framework of five "Master Mechanics," participants will explore practical engagement techniques including "Condensing" for cognitive anchoring and "Mirroring" to keep curriculum grounded in learner input. The session also introduces the "Fist to Five" polling method as a real-time tool for gauging comprehension and staying responsive throughout live training.

Learning Objectives:

  • Shift from passive instruction to intentional facilitation that activates co-creation
  • Apply at least two of the five Master Mechanics to increase learner engagement
  • Use the "Fist to Five" polling technique to gauge and respond to learner comprehension in real time
