Title of the Event: Vibe Coding for L&D: Your First Build with Claude Code

Event Description:

What exactly is vibe coding, and what can learning and development professionals create with it? This beginner-friendly session will introduce vibe coding, explore practical ways it can support L&D work, and compare some of the tools available. Rachel will share examples from her own experience before guiding participants through their first hands-on build using Claude Code. No previous coding experience is required.

Participants will receive a short prework video explaining how to install Claude Code and Visual Studio Code so they can follow along during the session.

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  1. Define vibe coding and explain how it can support learning design and development.

  2. Identify tools and practical use cases for creating AI-assisted learning experiences.

  3. Use Claude Code to create and refine a simple interactive learning prototype.
