Guest Speaker

Jim Moody is a recruiting and training coordinator at Carolina Casualty Insurance Group. He has a PHR certification and is a certified practitioner of MBTI Steps 1 and 2. Jim has previously served as a Management Development Specialist for Winn-Dixie where he designed, developed and ran Winn-Dixie University. Prior to that he was a Corporate Chef Trainer for Harris Teeter.

The Model emphasizes: (1) foundational competencies, or those that are important to everyone in the field, and 2) the specific areas of expertise (AOEs), which are the specialized knowledge and actions required by specific roles. This month’s program supports the new ASTD Area of Expertise: Learning Technologies, Instructional Design,and Training Delivery. (Click on image of the model to enlarge).
