May 2016 Chapter Event
Human Sigma for Change Management
How to Make Changes Stick
Human Sigma: The quality improvement methodology focusing on human behavior.
As a recognized leadership discipline, change management has been in existence for over a half a century. Yet despite the significant investment that companies have made in tools and training, most studies still show a 60-70% failure rate for organizational change projects – according to McKinsey & Company.
Given this evidence, is it possible that everything we know about change management is wrong? The answer is no. The content of change management is sound, but the managerial capacity to implement it has been grossly underdeveloped.
Human Sigma for Change Management introduces a new framework for approaching change in two streams; blending the “process” or change model, and the “transition” or emotional impact when embarking on a change effort.
Participants will learn how to identify and understand the three of the five principles of Human Sigma for Change Management and will learn how to:
- Create Leadership Visions and Strategies versus Plans and Budgets
- Communicate for the Buy-In
- Empower Action by Removing Barriers
