The ATD Capability Model provides a robust list of capabilities required for today’s learning and organizational professionals. April’s meeting will focus on Feedback, which is under the area of Developing Personal Capability: Collaboration & Leadership.

Feedback is a gift, whether you are on the giving or receiving end. When receiving feedback, it can be difficult to accept and listen to understand. For the giver, it is important to have the right motive for providing feedback. Let’s take a deeper look at the gift of feedback and understand the value of creating a culture of feedback.

In this session, you will:

  1. Understand the importance of feedback
  2. Identify techniques for providing feedback
  3. Distinguish between good and back feedback
  4. Learn how to respond to feedback
