     “ADDIE CORP” Connects with Digital Learning

Officials from the “ADDIE Corp” announced today that they will be
holding a press conference detailing their plan to move into the
realm of DIGITAL LEARNING.

eSIGers, Reporters, and all interested parties should arrive at the
Digital Learning Press Conference by 7:45am for free coffee and
bagels, and to network with others. ADDIE Corp’s CEO will begin
the press conference at 8:00am sharp! ADDIE Corp
spokeswoman, SAMantha Thiagi, stated that ADDIE Corp plans to
set an example for the corporate training industry, and to lead the
way in connecting training with the digital revolution. 

Gamification, 3-D immersive environments, digital storytelling,
transmedia – you may have heard about these concepts and other
“digital learning” techniques, but what do you really want to know
about them? Join us for a “Digital Learning Press Conference” to
hear from ADDIE Corp leaders and to ask the digital learning
questions you’ve been wanting answered. This will be a mediated
press conference, with our panel answering questions sent in by
you, tweeted by you, and asked by you. Following the press
conference, join with your “News Network” team and compete to
create the best coverage of the press conference highlights! 

At this Digital Learning Press Conference (eSIG) we will:
• Clarify what digital learning is and why it’s important to you
• Identify the various methods used for digital learning
• Discuss ways to start using digital learning in your programs.

ADDIE Corp has requested that you send in questions ahead
of time to be sure they are addressed during the press
conference. Please email elearning@astdnefl.org with
the answers to the questions below.

Presenter: The “ADDIE Corp Leaders” will consist of ASTD-NEFL
members who are familiar with current trends on the topic.

ASTD Competency Model:

The Areas of Expertise, as defined by the
ASTD Competency Model, include nine critical
factors needed to be a successful workplace
learning professional. This month’s program
supports the Areas of Expertise entitled,
“Designing Learning.”
